Harrison Mayes Roadside Cross

This cross in Smyrna, Tennessee was being modified for some time when the message said Made Right With God instead of Get Right With God.

The most insightful discussion about the meaning of the change might be in the comments on a flickr page to this photo.

“Get right with God” connotes a suggestion to do something. “Made right” might be referring to Harrison Mayes himself having “made right” with God, as he is deceased. Or maybe the property owner has “made right” with God. Who knows, just thoughts… — Buddha’s Ghost
